Founded in 2006, Rocket Lab set out to provide low-cost, frequent access to space for the small satellite industry. This vision drove the development of Electron. First launched in 2017, Electron has become a proven workhorse. Highly adaptable to its customers’ needs, it flies in expendable, reusable, and HASTE (Suborbital) configurations. Electron has launched satellites for NASA, JAXA, and many commercial customers worldwide, enabling rapid and affordable orbital deployment. Success with Electron has paved the way for Rocket Lab to expand its capabilities with Neutron.
